
NMB Bank has for the first time in the banking world, fully implemented the simple loan 'NMB Saapati' service, which has reached 1,000 customers under which rs. 1,000 has been provided. More than Rs 60 million loan has already been disbursed. There is a provision that the entire loan process from the application for loan disbursement can be done digitally without any kind of manual intervention. This service can be availed within 5 minutes of applying using a mobile without reaching the bank.
There are more than 10 million savings accounts in Nepal, out of which only about 1.6 million customers have been able to avail credit facilities. Nmb has been providing digital loans to its customers through the NMB Saapati scheme focusing on small loans as well as raising awareness.
NMB Sapati is a short-term collateral-free loan provided to meet the personal and emergency financial needs of customers having salary accounts and using personal loans in view of the current environment. Customers with salary accounts and personal loans with NMB Bank will get rs. 10,000 respectively with a flexible period of up to 24 months. 1 lakh and Rs. Loans up to Rs 200,000 have been provided immediately for 24 hours and 7 days. Customers will be able to choose their loan repayment period, loan repayment type, loan amount etc. based on their convenience.
Finally, the bank has also requested to use digital structures safely, follow safety rules and take measures to protect yourself and your family from the Covid epidemic.
