
NMB Bank and The Social Welfare Council have signed a bilateral agreement on digital payments by adopting social distancing and safety norms for prevention, control and response to the covid-19 pandemic.
It has been informed that all the national and international NON-governmental organizations (NGOs/ INGOs) working in Nepal and all the members working in Nepal who are engaged in the Social Welfare Council can make all the payments to the Social Welfare Council through electronic system (online).
On the occasion, Office Chief of Bhrikutimandap Operating Office, Mr. Ram Raj Bhattarai expressed happiness that the Social Welfare Council has started the online payment process and thanked NMB Bank and the Acting CEO of NMB Bank Mr. Sudesh Upadhyay also highlighted the efforts of the host to move towards building a cashless society with cash and to motivate its valued customers to make digital payments.
Social Welfare Council Vice-Chairman Dr. Padam Prasad Khatiwada, Member Secretary Pushkar Khati, Chief of Administration Sanjay Kumar Mallik also spoke on the importance and benefits of online payment.
