Card Activation (Green PIN Process)
You can generate your own PIN at any NMB ATM terminal using the following steps:
- Insert Card: Insert your debit card into any NMB ATM.
- Select Green PIN: Choose the "Green PIN" option on the display.
- OTP Verification: Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number (Note: The OTP is valid for 3 minutes).
- Set PIN: Enter your desired 4-digit PIN.
- Confirm: Re-enter the 4-digit PIN to confirm.
- Success: A message will confirm, "Your Green PIN has been activated successfully."
Enabling Online (E-commerce) Usage
To use your debit or credit card for online transactions, you must register for the 3D Secure service:
- Fill Form: Complete the e-commerce application form.
- Submit: Drop off the form at your nearest NMB Bank branch.
- Secure Usage: Once activated, you will receive a 6-digit OTP for every online transaction to ensure maximum security.
Card Safety & Best Practices
- Instant Blocking: If your card is lost or stolen, block it immediately via the eNMB App ("Cards" section) or call the support numbers listed below.
- Zero Liability: NMB protects you against unauthorized transactions through its "Zero Liability" policy.
- PIN Security: Memorize your PIN. Never write it on the card or share it with anyone.
- ATM Vigilance: Shield the keypad when entering your PIN and check the card slot for suspicious devices.
- Fraud Reporting: Report any discrepancies in your bank statement within 30 days.
